XX Programme and F1 Clienti in action at Portimão
Portimão, 20 June 2022 – XX Programme and F1 Clienti cars are back on the track for two days of private testing at the superb Portimão circuit in the Algarve. The fifth round of the Prancing Horse’s two most exclusive programmes is being contested in Portugal instead of the originally scheduled Suzuka event.
The venue has already hosted several events in 2022 with Ferrari amongst the protagonists, such as the first round of the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli Europe and the opening race of the DTM featuring Red Bull Alphatauri AF Corse’s 488 GT3 Evo 2020s.
Eight XX Programme models will be involved on the 4653-metre track which, since its inauguration, has met with approval from drivers for its spectacular yet challenging design. Seven FXX-K Evos will tackle the circuit, accompanied by a 599XX Evo.
Interspersed between the various sessions, at the event scheduled to take place on the 20th and 21st, will be the roar of the aspirated 10-cylinder Ferrari 150º Italia. The model was the fifty-seventh single-seater built by Ferrari to take part in the 2011 Formula 1 season, where it achieved nine podiums and a victory thanks to Fernando Alonso.
