United States Grand Prix – Charles fourth, Seb retired
Austin, 3 November 2019 – Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow comes away from the United States Grand Prix with a fourth place courtesy of Charles Leclerc in what was a rather difficult race for the entire team.

Suspension. Sebastian Vettel’s race ended on lap 8, whne the right rear suspension on his SF90 failed at Turn 8.
Difficult first stint. Charles Leclerc was unable to maintain a strong pace on the Medium tyres during the first stint. He was running an older power unit following the problem in free practice on Saturday and after his first pit stop he ran a normal race although the gap that had built up prior to the stop meant he was out of contention for a podium finish. He did however pick up the point awarded for setting the fastest race lap and he is still third in the Drivers’ championship, 14 points ahead of Max Verstappen.
