New 500 is named “best small electric car” at What Car? 2022 Electric Car Awards for the second consecutive year

The fully electric New 500 has retained its best small electric car title at the What Car? 2022 Electric Car Awards. Judges praised the car for its smile-inducing performance, attractive price point and iconic design.

This success is confirmed by brilliant sales results: in just two years the New 500 has been chosen by over 100,000 customers worldwide; it is the most sold EV in Italy and Germany, and it places itself on the podium in France and in Europe. The spearhead of our electrification strategy, then, the New 500 will soon land in the United States continuing its global journey outside Europe, after reaching the Middle East, Brazil and Japan.”
