Monte Carlo, 23 May 2019 – Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel completed a total of 60 laps in their Scuderia Ferrari Mission Winnow SF90s, with the Monegasque driver posting the fourth fastest time in the first free practice session for the Monaco Grand Prix and the German being fifth quickest.
Confidence. This morning’s work centred on finding the best set-up to suit this street circuit. The first session is also a time for drivers to build up speed on this Monaco track where the barriers are so close. Charles did 25 laps, the best in a time of 1’12”467, while Sebastian did ten more, stopping the clocks in 1’12”823.
Second session. The second 90 minute free practice session gets underway at 3pm.
