Modena’s Enzo Ferrari Museum takes part in the Motor Valley Fest with a lavish programme of events.
Maranello, 26 May 2022 – To coincide with the fourth edition of the Motor Valley Fest, the festival dedicated to Emilia-Romagna, the Land of Cars and Motorcycles, which takes place in Modena from 26 to 29 May, the Enzo Ferrari Museum is launching a lavish programme of events and initiatives for the public, plus a new exhibition.

10TH ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION
The Museum is updating its exhibition offering with an additional display as part of the recent “Ferrari Forever” show, unveiled for Ferrari’s 75th anniversary.
This new celebratory exhibition, held in the house where Enzo Ferrari was born, retraces 10 years of the Museum’s history through a display showcasing the exhibitions it has put on in its Modena home. The journey starts with the launch of the Museum in 2012 and, through a series of posters, looks back at the main exhibitions held in the period that followed. They range from the first, “The Origins of the Myth”, with a homage to Enzo Ferrari, “The Great Ferrari-Maserati Battles”, a “Homage to Pavarotti” in 2014, “Driving with the Stars” in 2017, celebrating the strong bond inspired by the Maranello-based company, right up to the later “Grand Tour” and “The Ferraris of Gianni Agnello”, which recently ended.
The exhibition will display eight cars that have been part of the various collections throughout the years. They include the Ferrari 166 Inter Touring Superleggera, the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, the special version created on occasion of the company’s 60th anniversary and the F1 GA from 2003 dedicated to Gianni Agnelli when he passed away. The exhibition will be open to the public until March 2023.
On Saturday 21 May, visitors to the Museum will be given a special commemorative postcard celebrating the Museum’s anniversary with a stamp created especially for the occasion.
EXHIBITION OF THE FERRARI RANGE
From 26 to 29 May, for the entire duration of the Motor Valley Fest, a number of Ferraris in the current range will be on display in the forecourt in front of the Museum entrance.
SPECIAL EVENTS
On Saturday evening, 28 May, the Museum’s opening hours will be specially extended until midnight, with a reduced entrance fee of €8 for those who enter after 7pm.
The evening will display some of the most noteworthy cars in the collection with their bonnets open, as well as free guided tours, organised every 60 minutes in both Italian and English. The latter are subject to availability.
Visitors can end their evening at the newly renovated Enzo Ferrari Museum Bistrot with an aperitif or cocktail in the lounge area set up in the outside courtyard until the Museum closes.
On Sunday 29 May, the Enzo Ferrari Museum will be transformed into a projection hall, giving visitors an immersive experience of the Monaco Grand Prix at no additional cost to the entrance ticket. The screening will start at 3pm to coincide with the start of the race.
During the weekend, visitors can also attend a special live performance with a demonstration of sheet-metal sculpting for car bodywork inside the Museum’s exhibition area. This will feature Afro Gibellini in collaboration with the Modenart collection (open to visitors on Saturday 28 at 11am and 4pm, and on Sunday 29 at 11am).
In addition, during all four days of the Motor Valley Fest live virtual tours will be available free of charge. These can be booked online at https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/museums. Museum visitors can take the free return shuttle bus to Maranello to complete their visit at the Enzo Ferrari Museum (Saturday and Sunday only), while specific workshops and entertainment activities will be organised for children during the afternoon.
