Japanese Grand Prix – Practice 1: Seb third, Charles fourth
Suzuka, 11 October 2019 – The Scuderia Ferrari Mission Window drivers were third and fourth fastest in the first free practice session for the Japanese Grand Prix. Sebastian Vettel did 26 laps while Charles Leclerc did 20.

Soft tyres. Both drivers ran Soft tyres looking for outright performance while also working in race configuration as today’s free practice will be the only ones of the weekend. Sebastian stopped the clocks in 1’29”720 and Charles did a 1’29”912.
New programme. The cars will be back on track at 14 local (7 CET) for the second free practice session. All Saturday’s programme has been cancelled because of typhoon Hagibis which is due to hit the Mie Prefecture overnight. Qualifying is now scheduled for Sunday at 10 (3 CET) with the race at 14.10 local (7.10 CET.).
