French Grand Prix – Leclerc third, Sebastian fifth
Le Castellet, 23 June 2019 –Scuderia Ferrari leaves the French Grand Prix with the points for third place from Charles Leclerc, who crossed the line glued to Valtteri Bottas’ gearbox, and a fifth place for Sebastian Vettel, who thus finished two places higher than he qualified during a difficult session Saturday. The German also gets an extra point for setting the race fastest lap.
The race. Lewis Hamilton won, ahead of his team-mate Bottas. This was Charles’ third Formula 1 podium, after finishing in the same position in Bahrain and Canada. Racing resumes next weekend at the Spielberg track in Austria.
