Bahrain Grand Prix – Ferrari tops the time sheet in first free practice

Sakhir, 29 March 2019 –Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel were first and second fastest respectively in the first free practice session for the Bahrain GP, at the wheel of their SF90s.

20 and 21 laps. Slow lap times were the order of the day early in the session as windy weather in the past few days had blown sand across the track, but as the racing line was gradually cleaned, the times began to tumble. Charles Leclerc did 20 laps, with a best time of 1’30”354 while Sebastian Vettel did 21 laps and stopped the clocks in 1’30”617. The second session gets underway at 18:00 local time (16:00 CET.)
