Bahrain GP – Positive balance

Sakhir, 13 March
The balance at the end of the third free practice session for the Bahrain GP, where the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro worked with the qualifying in sight, was positive. After the 60 minutes for the 24 drivers on the track, Fernando Alonso’s F10 drove the fastest time, with 1.54.099. The Spanish driver completed 14 laps, as opposed to his teammate Felipe Massa, who drove the sixth fastest time (1.54.761) with the same number of laps, while the Brazilian was able to better employ the tyre sets.
A small problem for Felipe and the consequently delayed entry onto the track prevented him from doing a fast lap. Third and second place on the time sheet went to the Mercedes with Nico Rosberg (1.54.368) and the Red Bull with Mark Webber (1.54.500).
