It will be the next graduation session of 17 July, at the Engineering Department “Enzo Ferrari” of the University of Modena, which will see the presentation of the latest research project “AHR” (Active Hidden Roof).
Continuously followed from the beginning by the
tutor,
Prof. Fabrizio Ferrari, creator of the same project and
correlator of the thesis, the candidate Andrea Petruccioli, has carried out his internship at Modelleria Modenese, assisted in his project by Eng. Antonio Cesaretti, ex Maserati and Ferrari and directed by the relator, Prof. Francesco Leali.
The research project “AHR”, in this case of setting up, is not new to the Engineering Department of Modena, as at least 4 other candidates have presented their respective thesis on this topic, constantly evolved and that, even in the latter , even more refined version, is based on an innovative mechanism of opening and closing the cockpit. Mechanism dedicated to a two-seater vehicle with a central engine, which can be configured as desired, as a coupé (closed), targa (with only the roof removed) or spider (cockpit completely open). A completely automated and certainly interesting mechanism!
Now we have to wait for July 17 to observe the virtual animations and see the innovations that the virtual project presents!
