Four covers for the 2022 Ferrari Yearbook

TO CELEBRATE THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY, THE TRADITIONAL YEAR-END PUBLICATION COMES OUT IN FOUR COLLECTABLE VERSIONS

Maranello, 16 December 2022 – Since Enzo Ferrari published the first Yearbook in 1949 to celebrate the race results for the season and the cars that emerged from the gates of his still-new factory, the publication has become an unmissable event for customers, enthusiasts and fans.

This year, to celebrate the company’s 75th anniversary, it was the first time that one Ferrari Yearbook didn’t seem up to the job the way four would be.

That’s why the publication went the extra mile with four covers, representing the various spirits of the Prancing Horse: from the latest addition to the GT range, the Purosangue, to the F1-75, the single-seater that ended the F1 World Championship in second place both among the Drivers with Leclerc and among the Constructors, and from the 499P, the hypercar set to debut in 2023 in the top class of the FIA World Endurance Championship, to the Spring Summer 2023 collection presented during the latest Milan fashion week. A hardback version can also be ordered at store.ferrari.com.

In keeping with tradition, the Yearbook opens with a foreword from Chairman John Elkann, which recalls, among other things, the great developments awaiting Ferrari and the great growth there has been over its 75 years of history and success: “Since those early days that small factory has grown in size and number of people and that growth continues to this day. This year we started expansion work that includes, among other things, the construction of both an innovative painting plant and the new e-building where the motors of our first electric car, which will be revealed in 2025, will be built. The subject of our continued journey to electrification was one of the key themes of our strategic plan, ‘Pushing the Boundaries’, presented at our Capital Markets Day. It was a milestone event in our calendar at which, in front of a global audience of analysts, investors and media who joined us in Maranello, we reconfirmed our commitment to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030 and the launch of 15 new models between 2023 and 2026.”

In the following pages, the Yearbook looks back over the racing and corporate events of 2022. In addition to the ones illustrated with the four covers, there’s a brief history through major milestones in the 75 years of the Ferrari story ending with the Capital Markets Day in September, a series of portraits of employees who attended Global MBA and Scuola dei Mestieri, with an interview with CEO Benedetto Vigna on the importance that Ferrari attributes to continuous learning, the events dedicated to customers, from the various Cavalcades to the Targa Florio and Mille Miglia Tributes, the 296 GTS on the roads of Friuli Venezia Giulia and the 296 GT3 on the Barcelona track, the success of the 488 GTE in the LMGTE Pro class of the FIA WEC, the young drivers of the Ferrari Driver Academy and those of the Esports Championships up to the big party ending the Challenge and Attività Sportive GT season, the Finali Mondiali in Imola.

So there are four individual faces for one great spirit: the spirit of Ferrari.
