In California sarà protagonista anche una 250 GTO, le quotazioni delle Ferrari Classiche continuano la loro ascesa
Maranello, 21 luglio 2014 – Quest’anno, ancora più del solito, c’è molta attesa nel mondo dei collezionisti di vetture storiche per il tradizionale appuntamento di agosto a Pebble Beach, in California, dove verranno battute all’asta due straordinarie Ferrari classiche: una 275 GTB/C Speciale e una 250 GTO.
In nessuno dei due casi gli specialisti si sono esposti con valutazioni, ma le opinioni sono unanimi sul fatto che queste due auto si avvicineranno – e forse supereranno – i record raggiunti dalle Ferrari nelle vendite tra privati degli ultimi anni, come la GTO arrivata, nel 2013, a 38,45 milioni di euro o quelli registrati nelle aste, come la Testa Rossa battuta nel 2011 a 11,91 milioni di euro e la piu’ recente Ferrari 375-Plus del 1954 venduta a Goodwood per il corrispettivo di 13,5 milioni di euro.
La Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale costruita nel 1964 e carrozzata da Scaglietti è uno dei tre costruiti a Maranello con queste specifiche. Definita dalla rivista specializzata Classic Driver ”la crema della crema della crema” per ribadire l’importanza storica di questa auto, e’ la stretta erede della GTO e venne prodotta tra la fine del 1964 e l’inizio del 1965.
