equipaggio portano a termine una durissima 71a edizione
della Rolex Sydney-Hobart Yacht Race
A tagliare per primo il traguardo è stato il 100 piedi statunitense Comanche, con un tempo di 2 giorni, 8 ore, 58 minuti, 30 secondi. Dietro di lui l’australiano Ragamuffin 100 (2 giorni, 19 ore, 47 minuti, 30 secondi) e lo statunitense Rambler 88 (2 giorni, 19 ore, 51 minuti, 42 secondi).
A bordo di Maserati, insieme allo skipper Giovanni Soldini, un equipaggio internazionale di eccellenti velisti: gli italiani Guido Broggi, Matteo Ivaldi, Francesco Malingri, Corrado Rossignoli, Carlo Castellano; gli spagnoli Carlos Hernandez e Oliver Herrera; il monegasco Pierre Casiraghi; l’inglese Sam Goodchild; gli australiani Elizabeth “Liz” Wardley, Drew Mervyn Carruthers, Trevor Brown e il giornalista Nick Vindin, “ospite speciale”.
