La vettura è il prodotto di una nuova collaborazione tra Francorchamps Motors, uno dei tre dealer Ferrari in Belgio, e il programma Tailor Made di Maranello, che arriva ad un anno di distanza dal successo mondiale della F12berlinetta Tour de France 64, presentata al Motor Show 2015. La California T esposta è caratterizzata dalla stessa livrea della 458 GT3 vincitrice della corsa: il colore di base è il Rosso Corsa, sulla quale sono applicate bande racing di colore rosso, blu e bianco, i cerchi sono di colore Argento Nürburgring opachi con bordi gialli mentre due frecce gialle indicano le maniglie delle portiere proprio come sull’auto da competizione.
Anche gli interni sono ispirati alla vettura da corsa, con l’impiego dell’Alcantara e di un tessuto nero opaco ispirato alla fibra di carbonio che caratterizza anche il volante, proprio come sulla 458 GT3. La pedaliera è in alluminio nero mentre la tappezzeria, compresi i tappetini, sono in un tessuto tecnico nero denominato SuperFabric che è un materiale rigido, a prova di proiettile, con finiture 3D sulla superficie. Anche i sedili in Alcantara sono caratterizzati da inserti in tessuto ad elevato grip per il massimo comfort di guida.
